2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by IONOS. When you visit the website, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include your IP address, time of access, requested content, browser and device information, and technical status information. The data is processed to deliver the website, ensure secure operation and analyse errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website). Recipients may include IONOS and other technical service providers where applicable. The retention periods for server logs depend on the hosting provider’s actual settings and retention policies.
3. Contact form and email communication
If you contact us, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, email address and, where applicable, information about the property you offer (such as property type, location, asking price and message). This is done solely to process and respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to take steps before entering into a contract. Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling other enquiries). Required fields are marked in the form. The form cannot be submitted without a name and email address.
The contact form forwards the details to our business inbox using the WordPress email function. The theme does not store the submitted form data in a separate database. However, messages and replies may be stored in the email systems involved. We delete enquiries when they are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were received, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require longer storage.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Based on the current functionality of the Legimo theme, this website does not use visitor analytics or advertising and marketing trackers. The theme itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may use technically necessary login and preference cookies for logged-in users. Where technically necessary technologies are used to provide the website, access to information on users’ devices is governed by Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). If services requiring consent are added in the future, they will be reviewed for data protection compliance and, where necessary, only activated with consent.
5. Service providers and data transfers
Hosting, email and IT service providers may process personal data to provide the website and enable email communication. Required contractual and data protection agreements are put in place. Whether data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, and under which safeguards, depends on the services actually used and their technical settings.
6. Your data protection rights
Subject to statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection to certain processing activities (Article 21). You may withdraw any consent given with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
7. Data protection contact
Please send data protection enquiries to martin.leggemann@legimo.com or to our postal address stated above.
